Story Telling

For over 27,000 years, since the first cave paintings were discovered, telling stories has been one of the most fundamental communication methods.

Here is the science around storytelling:

When we/ kids are being told the story, things change dramatically. Not only are the language processing part of the brain activated, but any other area in our brain that we/ kids would use when experiencing the events of the story are too.

Evolution has wired our brains for storytelling; make the best use of it with your child. It can be a great way to spend time together the special time together promotes bonding and helps to build your relationship with your child and will promote language, literacy, and the most important brain development.

What an incredible experience kids have at Peek A Boo during storytelling sessions. Kids listen to stories in enthusiastic admiration. Our kids get very creative when it comes to storytelling by them, they will sing, read, and paint.

They are always encouraged to use a language they are comfortable with which helps them communicate more easily and it's more fun for them.
